Tariffs are government-imposed taxes on imported goods. When we bring in tumblers, lids, coolers, and heat press machines from overseas, we pay these tariffs at the port and when the product arrives in the USA, before shipping to customers, warehousing, or packaging even starts.

For example:

  • A $5 tumbler with a 10% tariff = $5.50
  • With a 145% tariff = $12.25
  • With a 30% tariff = $6.50

Since HOGG Outfitters continued importing throughout the year, our inventory contains a mix of goods tariffed at different rates. That means you may see slight price increases as older inventory sells out and newer, higher-cost inventory is averaged in.

But we’ve only raised prices when absolutely necessary, and always in real dollar amounts, not inflated markups.
